Our Dental Implant Process
1. Consultation and 3D planning. We examine your mouth and take digital X-rays and 3D scans to map your bone, nerves, and sinuses. You leave with a written plan, the exact cost, and a timeline.
2. Preparation, if needed. Any extractions or gum disease treatment happen here in our office, not at a separate referral practice across Orange County.
3. Implant placement. Your implant is placed under local anesthetic using guided surgery techniques for precise positioning. Nervous about dental work? Oral sedation and monitored IV sedation are available. Most patients compare the visit to getting a filling and return to work the next day.
4. Healing. Over 3 to 6 months, the implant bonds with your bone. If the gap shows when you smile, you wear a temporary tooth in the meantime. 5. Your new crown. We attach a custom crown shaded to match your natural teeth, check your bite, and you are done.
