Dr. James Jun, DDS

I am so happy and ecstatic to join Dr. Vartanian’s team as his periodontist. I am excited to see what lies ahead in helping Dr. Vartanian serve the community.

I attended University of California Irvine and University of Southern California earning a bachelors in science. I moved to Boston and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for my dental doctorate. I continued my post graduate education for 3 years of residency in the same school earning a degree as a periodontist. I practiced in Boston for 1 year and moved back to Southern California while still keeping ties with my alma mater.

While I’m not spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing sports. I have an easy going personality and love to smile and share knowledge and banter with patients. I enjoy engaging with my patients helping them as best as I can academically and clinically. Currently, I am fortunate to work in various environments allowing me to gain experience in many situations and be able to apply valuable knowledge where ever I work. I believe I will forever be educated in life and I will always allow myself to have an open mind to incorporate new lessons and experience.

With anything I do, I am very passionate in what I do and always hold myself to the highest standard of care for my patients. It is very rewarding to be able to positively change a person’s smile and be able to instill confidence for people I treat. I am truly blessed and thankful to be given the opportunity to join an amazing team and couldn’t be more exited to help Dr. Vartanian serve the community.
